Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stephanie Collins conducted an unannounced Required - 1 Year Inspection (took kit #1).
The purpose of today’s visit is to ensure the facility is in compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. LPA met with the Head Teacher Awanti Singh, and Administer Emma Monica explained the nature of today's visit. The center is located on the Painter Elementary School campus in Room K1. Preschool Co-op in conjunction with the Santa Clare County Office of Education (SCCOE). Painter Elementary School is an active school site. There were zero children in session today.

All staff have clearances through Alum Rock Union School District. This is a co-op program, and all parents who volunteer also have clearance through the School District. The Director understands that there shall be at least one person with valid CPR and First Aid certifications on site at all times, or present during off-site activities (field trips).

LPA toured the facility both inside and outside during today’s visit. LPA observed the required posted materials, including the Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610), Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148), Parents' Rights Poster (PUB 393), Personal Rights (LIC 613A), Child Car Seat Law (PUB 269), and Activity Schedule. The hours of operation are Tuesday - Friday, 8:30 am - 2:30pm. The facility has an active waiver allowing the preschool children to share the playground with the elementary school Kindergarten Program at separate times (schedule on file).

LPA observed staff immunization records on file and staff have completed the Mandated Reporter Training. Staff's CPR and First Aid certifications are current.

Each child's file reviewed contains the Information and Emergency Information form (LIC 700), immunization records, physicians report, personal rights, and parents’ rights.
