There is one staff restroom in common area that will also be used by children who become ill. Sick children will be isolated in the Director's Office and isolation equipment will be provided. A morning and afternoon snack will be provided for the children by the center. Children are required to bring their own lunch from home. The center as a kitchen with a preparation area where morning and afternoon snacks can be prepared. LPA observed trash cans with tight fitting covers for the disposal of solid waste. Drinking water indoors will be available via water jug and pitchers, fountains. LPA observed functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers at the facility. The facility staff will clean toys and equipment daily with cleaning wipes and solutions that will be kept inaccessible to children. Medication will be stored in a secured cabinet inaccessible to children in office area. LPA observed toys, furniture, and equipment such as tables, chairs, mats, etc.
The Preschool playground is enclosed by fencing. Areas around and under climbing structure has material that absorbs fall. Shade is provided under Pergola canopy type setting. Drinking water outdoors is available via water pitcher, coolers and/or disposable cups. The center will not provide transportation. There is a working telephone which is ((408) 748-3500.
