25 | LPA, Behbood made a visit to conduct an annual visit. Met Roberta, Site Director/Teacher. Purpose of visit explained. Lisa Patterson Preschool Administrator arrived during visit. Present also were 13 day care children and one additional staff. Inside and play ground was toured. Random Staff and children files were reviewed. Days and hours of operation are September through mid June, closed during summer. Operation hours is Monday through Friday from 8:15 to 12:15.
All staff have clearances on Licensing system. Ms. Patterson understands that all staff must have a clearance associated to the Preschool before they can be present. Failure to do so will result in a fine.
There are no bodies of water at the Preschool. Ms. Patterson confirms states there are no weapons at the Preschool.
Cleaning supplies are stored in the cabinet beneath the sink locked and inaccessible to children. Medications stored inaccessible to children in their original containers with proper documentation. Furniture & equipment appear in good condition. Floors appear clean. Children's bathrooms are in operating condition. Preschool refrigerator appears clean & all food is covered. Trash can for food waste has a tight fitting cover. Menu is posted
Playground has climbing structures, , sand boxes, etc. wood chips are used for cushioning material. Drinking water inside the classrooms are provided via pitcher and in the playground is provided via water fountain.
Staff have current CPR & 1st aid certificate. Staff files have copies of their educational background, immunization. Staff completed Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training. . Children's files have emergency information, and copies of their immunization records
Children were supervised during the visit. Teacher/child ratio was met during the visit.
No citation was issued during today's visit. |
