25 | On 8/7/23 at 9:30am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Mendez and LPA Sims. Hours of operation are 6:30am-5:30pm, Monday–Friday. The facility was toured at 12:00pm inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. Facility operates in 2 rooms.
The facility representative and staff were supervising 30 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises.
Six children's records were reviewed at 9:32am. Six staff records were reviewed at 10:14am.
The following deficiencies were cited based off of record review staff did not have current mandated reporter and based off of observation poisons were not being stored correctly (see LIC 809D):

Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
