The facility inspection was conducted via tele-inspection due to the current state of emergency regarding the COVID-19 outbreak by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carrie Wisehart in response to an application for a room change from room #25 to room #20.

This program is operated by Shasta County Office of Education and it is a Title 5 funded program, operating on Bonny view School Campus. Operating hours are 7:45am - 11:15am, Mon-Fri and follows the school calendar. The facility was toured inside and outside and the floor and yard plan were verified.



Water is provided in doors via a water fountain and a water jug and cups are provided in the outdoor play area. The facility has a first aid kit on site. Medications are locked in the first aid bag. The facility has a fire extinguisher rated at least the 2A10BC and it has a working carbon monoxide detector and fire alarm.

The fire clearance was approved for 24 preschoolers on 7/23/20. The indoor capacity measured for 40 children and the outdoor yard area measured for 177 children. Therefore, the 24 requested capacity is approved. The school has an approved waiver for a shared playground on file and per site supervisor, the facility is following the terms of the waiver.

This report was reviewed and discussed with the site supervisor. All licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years.


Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's visit. There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
