25 | On 7/28/23 at 9:36am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Mendez. At 10:45am the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 11 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are kitchen and bedrooms, and were made inaccessible by baby gate. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is a above ground pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with chain link fence with wooden slats in between the fencing and there is a existing pool waiver on file and the terms of the waiver are being met. There is also a hot tub that is locked with hard top cover.
11 children's records were reviewed at 9:53am. Two staff records were reviewed at 9:49am
There are currently two adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection.
