1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	On 10/20/2023 at 2:47 p.m. an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J. Gifford At 2:52 p.m. the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 13 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on non school days and 2:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. on school days. Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are master bedroom and bathroom and were made inaccessible by the door being closed. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is a in ground, pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with a rod iron and locking gate. 6 children's records were reviewed at 3:12 p.m. 2 staff records were reviewed at 3:29 p.m. There are currently 2 adults living in the home. There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection. To improve the quality and value of the new inspection process, a survey may be sent to the email address provided. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-andresources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02- CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.

During the exit interview, the licensee, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
