13 | On September 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cunningham conducted an unannounced complaint inspection, and met with director, Nicole Bull. It was alleged that unqualified staff are providing care and supervision for day care children; specifically, staff do not have the skills and experience to provide adequate care and supervision.
The licensee and director were interviewed on 8/30/23. The director provided a current personnel report (LIC 500) and copies of staff files for the director and seven employees. LPA reviewed staff files and observed transcripts for director, staff 1, 2, and 6 with appropriate units. The licensee stated that staff 3, 4, and 5 do not have transcripts because they help but are not counted in ratio.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the findings are unsubstantiated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the director, Nicole Bull.
