A subsequent complaint investigation visit was conducted at the facility by Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Carrie Wisehart and Patricia Pacheco. It has been alleged that staff left day care children unattended; specifically, that staff leave the children without direct supervision when infants are napping and use cameras to monitor them. LPA Pacheco met with the licensee on 06/07/19 and discussed the allegation. The licensee stated that children are never unattended and that there is staff present in the infant room at all times providing direct supervision. During previous inspections conducted on 06/07/19, 06/10/19 and 08/01/19, LPAs observed that there were multiple staff present in the activity and nap rooms providing supervision to both napping and awake infants. Staff and witness interviews were conducted and it was corroborated that there is staff available and present in the infant room at all times during day care hours. Based on the information available, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred and the findings are unsubstantiated.
