25 | On 10/06/22 at 1:00 p.m., an annual required inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), N. Cunningham. At 1:20 p.m. the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising two children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are everything in the home except for the kitchen and attached living room and a bathroom. The children use the front yard for the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced with a 2-3 foot wood fence. The licensee stated she provides constant supervision while the children are outside. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard.
Six children's records were reviewed at 2:00 p.m., one staff records was reviewed at 2:30 p.m.
There are currently two adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
