Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Ouye met with Director, Sabrina Drake to conduct a case management visit to inspect a new building on the Solano College Campus. There is a preschool classroom and an infant/toddler classroom within the building. The application was received by the department on July 1, 2024. The fire clearance was approved by the Fairfield Fire Department on August 5, 2024. A single fire clearance was approved for both the preschool and infant licenses. The total combined capacity is approved for 120 children. The preschool program's capacity remains approved for 84 children.

This preschool program operates in classrooms 203 in the newly constructed building and 220 and 205 in the existing building.

There is sufficient indoor and outdoor square footage to support the capacity.

There are no changes to the existing building. The newly constructed building is approved for use effective today, August 8, 2024.
