13 | On 6/28/2023 at 9:00am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Laura Chavez and Julie Gifford conducted an unannounced follow-up complaint inspection to the facility and met with Curriculum and Philosophy Advisor (CPA) Kim Hicks. It has been alleged that staff are not properly sanitizing, specifically, that children are continuously getting sick due to the lack of cleaning causing the spread of germs. On 3/29/2023 Director Ashleigh Owens denied the allegation and stated that staff continuously clean and sanitize toys, bathrooms, and tables, throughout the day.
Interviews conducted on 3/29/2023 with Licensee Terri Bailey and Staff 1-5 were conducted between 1:25pm-3:00pm denied the allegation and stated that the facility is cleaned and sanitized several times throughout the day. Licensee stated that each staff is assigned and responsible for cleaning and sanitizing their classrooms and deep cleanings are done after hours when children and staff are not present. Staff 1-5 stated they continuously clean and sanitize their classrooms, cribs, and wash pacifiers, teethers, and toys immediately after children have put them in their mouths.
