On 5/31/2022 at 12:00 PM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J. Helton. At 1:00 PM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 8 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 6:00 AM- 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, open occasionally on Saturdays for a couple families when needed. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are the upstairs area, and is made inaccessible by baby gate at bottom and top of the stairs. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is a above ground pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with a self latching gate, and meets Title 22 regulations for pool fencing standards.

8 children's records were reviewed at 12:06 PM. 2 staff records were reviewed at 12:20 PM, all records were complete.

There are currently 5 adults living in the home, all have DOJ clearances. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
