During today's inspection, staffing ratios were being met, 32 children were being supervised by 6 staff. The facility was operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. At least one staff member present, S1, during the inspection possessed current CPR and First Aid certifications, which expire 10/2024. Five children’s records were reviewed at 10:24am. Staff file reviews will be conducted on a later date.
LPA referred facility representative to the Department website for lead: Lead Toxicity Prevention and Water Testing Information. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with facility representative, S1, and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed facility representative, S1, of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of “medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s records. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. S1 was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the S1, Amber Golden. There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
