An inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melchisedeck Augustin to confirm that an adult (A1) without criminal record clearance or an approved criminal record exemption is not present at the facility. LPA met with Licensee/Director Linda Reid and LPA Augustin discussed the purpose of the inspection with the Licensee/Director. At 11:25am, Licensee claimed A1 has never worked at the facility and that A1 has never been around the children. The Licensee/Director confirmed that she is aware that A1 is not permitted to be at the facility at any time when day care children are in care. At 11:28am, LPA conducted interviews with two staff (S1-S2). At 11:28am, S1-S2 confirmed that A1 has never worked at the facility and that A1 has never been around the day care children. LPA toured the facility indoor and outdoor on limits areas, and A1 was not present.

Based on LPA's observation and interviews with S1-S2 and the Licensee during today's inspection, LPA have verified that A1 is not present at the facility or employed at the facility. LPA advised the Licensee to dissociate A1 from their roster. The Licensee understands and is aware that an immediate $500 Civil Penalty will be assessed for having any adults work, without criminal record clearance or an approved criminal record exemption. This report was reviewed and discussed with the Licensee. All Licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's inspection. There were no Title 22 deficiency cited during today's inspection.
