25 | On 2/16/23 at 12:00 PM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), J. Helton. At 12:28 PM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising 0 (zero) children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements, licensee provides mostly before and after-school care. The facility’s operating hours are flexible, but mostly 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are game room, downstairs bedroom, entire upstairs, and were made inaccessible by locking doors. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. The play equipment is safe and appropriate. There is an above ground pool, outside the children accessible area. The ladder is removed when it is not in use, and is not in use during day care hours. 2 children's records were reviewed at 12:02 PM. 1 staff records were reviewed at 12:10 PM.
There are currently 6 adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
