During today's inspection, staffing ratios were being met, 14 children were being supervised by 1 staff in the school-age classroom. The facility was operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. At least one staff member present during the inspection possessed current CPR and First Aid certifications, which expire 07/2023. Ten children’s records were reviewed at 1:59pm and contained complete and current information as required. Two staff files were reviewed at 1:40pm and did not contain current Mandated Reporter Training certificates as required. Staff 1 and Staff 2 (S1 and S2) had expired Mandated Reporter Training certificates on file.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
The following violation of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22; Division 12, was observed: see LIC 809D. Appeal Rights were provided.
