32 | Licensee stated that parents really appreciate her for doing so and she is glad to help parents out in anyway she can so they will not be late to their appointment. Licensee stated the other day her assistant stopped by and brought her two grandchildren (twins) and they were in their car seats because they were leaving. Licensee stated that she knows better and children are never to be restrained in any way. S1 stated the other day she stopped by the Licensee's home during day care hours to drop off some tomatoes and brought her two (twins) grandbabies with her but was only there for a few minutes. S1 stated she knows very well that children can not be retained in car seats, nor sleep in car seats. S1 stated that she has never observed any day care children being restrained in a car seat at Maria's day care. An interview was conducted with Adult 2 (A2) on 2/02/21 at 1:35 p.m. A2 stated that she has never observed any day care children restrained to a car seat during drop off nor pick up. A2 stated that she is very happy with the services Maria Rivas, Licensee provides. A2 stated Maria is very nice and loveable to all the children and treats the children like if they were here own family.
Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
LS’s signature was not recorded on this Complaint Investigation Report (CIR), however, this report was reviewed and discussed with LS, LS was provided with a copy of this CIR; and Appeal Rights, LS’s signature will be on file. All licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years.
There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's video inspection. |
