The facility inspection was conducted via tele-inspection due to the Covid-19 state of emergency pandemic. The department has suspended all field operations and the applicant has agreed to conduct the video conference with LPA's, (Licensing Program Analyst) Glenn Ouye and Yang Yang.

The purpose of the televisit is to conduct a prelicensing visit due to a change of entity from the franchisee to TLE at Rohnert Park, LLC. The Director, Karen Arena remains as the director of the combination center.

A physical site inspection to conduct the capacity determination was performed on August 27, 2020. The applicant applied for 23 school age children. Based on the square footage and the number of toilets the maximum capacity is approved at 15 school age children.

The school age children license will use one room. This license is for school age children from Kindergarten through entry into fourth grade. The component is new to this location. They will be providing support for families who's children need assistance with distance learning as well as traditional after school care setting.

Due to the change in ownership without a change in operations and facility management, LPA Yang and Ouye discussed topics which were specific to the needs of the facility which included Covid-19 procedures and protocols

Based on the applicants regulatory knowledge the facility's preschool license is approved for licensure effective today, October 5, 2020. A copy of the license will be sent to the licensee.
