Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Glenn Ouye and Amy Strother met with applicant, Varala Durai and Director, Julie Bettencourt to conduct a prelicensing. inspection of the facility. A capacity determination and physical plant inspection was performed previously on August 18, 2021.

LPA's Strother and Ouye went over regulations and procedural information with the applicant and director. Also covered were the facility's Covid-19 protocols regarding masking, disinfecting, sanitizing, daily wellness checks and communication with public health if needed.

The applicant and director have demonstrated full knowledge of the regulations that apply to child care center facilities.

The facility is approved for licensure effective October 1, 2021 for a maximum capacity of 48 preschool children.
