Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brannon met with Director, Vanessa Cataline. During today's visit, LPA toured the infant facility classroom and outside play yard.

LPA observed four sleeping infants in the crib room, with one infant staff observing the sleeping infants. Another staff member was in the classroom, interacting with one infant.

The infant license has two waivers. One waiver addresses the outside play area. The infants follow the outside play area schedule and are out in groups. The second waiver addresses the requirement for the infant table to be within arms reach of sink. These waivers are dated June 27, 1997.

During today's visit, LPA was informed that licensee is painting the building and making repairs as needed. LPA observed that a wooden gate is in need of repair. The bottom of wooden gate is worn with jagged edges. The gate is high enough that an infant may be able to get underneath. LPA is recommending that the licensee, Centenary Christian Preschool, repairs the gate and address the issue, so that infants cannot crawl underneath the gate.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency to be cited. Exit interview conducted with Director, Vanessa Cataline. A copy of this report need to be placed in facility file for public review. A Notice of Site Visit was posted on parent board.
