32 | A thorough file review was conducted on staff and children’s files. LPA Tate reviewed a sample of children’s files, and they were complete with necessary emergency contact information and all required forms were present and complete. LPA Tate conducted a file review for staff and observed training to not be current. Staff #4, #5, and #6 did not have current Pediatric CPR/First Aid training on File. Site Supervisor Felix stated that staff had CPR Training on 8/24/24 and provided LPA Tate with a sign-in sheet of staff that attended. Site Supervisor Felix stated that they have not yet received the CPR/ First Aid cards with their stickers. All other staff files were complete with necessary forms and signed appropriately.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. Site Supervisor Felix was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, there are no deficiencies being cited during todays inspection.
Appeal rights were given. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Calletana Felix.
