Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brannon met with Concha Alvarez, Executive Director. LPA conducted a case management visit to inspect the infant center.

There is one infant classroom. LPA inspected facility, took inside and outside measurements. Concha Alvarez accompanied LPA while taking measurements.

Licensee does provide potty training upon parent's request. There is an infant restroom with two child size toilets and one sink. There are two changing tables, within arm's reach of sinks. The infant classroom is divided by a half-wall.

During today's inspection, LPA observed that the infants' cubbies were under the changing tables. The area for infants' cubbies was also being used for storage. This did not allow room for the 18 infants' belongings. LPA reviewed with staff that there is to be enough space for the cubbies. Ten storage boxes were moved to a cabinet, in an area that is not used for infants and accessible by parents. The other eight storage boxes were kept in the cabinets under the changing table.

During today's inspection, LPA reviewed with staff that both infant rooms are to be set up for infants and not to be used as storage when one side is not in use.

During today's visit, LPA recommended to staff that the infant shade structure's metal poles should be cushioned to help prevent an infant from injury when running into the poles.

No deficiencies cited during today's visit.
