25 | On July 22, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) C Brannon met with Jewelee Hotchkiss-Lemus, Director II and Center Supervisor, Guillermina Ramirez-James. The purpose of today's inspection was to review classroom. Licensee, Stanislaus County Office of Education, installed a walkway for toddler parents to walk through the infant room into the toddler room, but not enter the infants' classroom area. Licensee installed this walkway to assist in mitigating the spread of COVID.
By installing the temporary walkway in the infant classroom, licensee decreased space utilized in calculating infant capacity. Per Director II, Jewelee Hotchkiss-Lemus, licensee will be installing a new door in the toddler option room, thereby allowing toddler parents to enter directly into the toddler room, without entering the infant classroom. Licensee has plans to have this construction project start in December 2022.
Licensee is aware to keep Licensing informed of the construction project. A date for Licensing to inspect and remeasure infant rooms will scheduled to ensure licensee meets interior square footage for infant licensed capacity of 23 (8 infants and 15 toddlers in the toddler option program).
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency cited during today's inspection. Exit interview conducted with Center Director, Guillermina Ramirez-James. POC/Appeal Rights were given and discussed during today’s inspection. A copy of this report needs to be placed in facility file for public review. A Notice of Site Visit was posted on parent board for 30 days. |
