An unannounced required inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Claudia Henley. Met with Site Supervisor Shawnda Pombo. LPA toured the facility; both indoors and outdoors. There are no bodies of water on site. Firearms/weapons are not allowed or stored on premises. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions and other dangerous items shall be inaccessible to children. The facility has age-appropriate furniture and equipment including, but not limited to, cribs, cots, or mats. A baby walker is not allowed on the premises. The facility has sufficient infant napping equipment. The toddler program is conducted in areas physically separate from those used by older or younger children. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. While in use, infant changing tables are placed within arm's reach of a sink. All floors are clean and safe. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All food prep and storage areas are clean, free of litter, rubbish, and rodents/vermin. Uncontaminated drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Menus are posted at least one week in advance, where an authorized representative can view them. Facility has carbon monoxide detectors. Playground equipment is in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Before working or volunteering in a licensed child care facility, all individuals subject to a criminal record review have a clearance or exemption and have been associated to the facility. Staff records were reviewed. Staff current on Mandated Child Abuse Reporter training and immunization records. At least one person trained in CPR and Pediatric first-aid is present when children are at the facility or at off-site activities. Children's files were reviewed. The Infant Needs and Services Plan were reviewed. No medication is being given at this time.

No deficiencies were cited. Site Visit Notice posted. Exit interview was conducted.
