On 11/27/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Valerie Mireles conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the preschool license. LPA met with Director Janet Guthmiller. A census was taken and LPA toured the facility, inside and outside.

During today’s inspection, LPA visually observed the facility undergoing construction for building repairs of the preschool classroom. During an interview with Janet Guthmiller, the construction was not reported to Community Care Licensing. This poses a potential risk for children in care. During today's inspection, the Director advised that they received funding from a grant and construction repairs will be completed in January 2024.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, the following deficiency is being cited: (see next page, 809-D)

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Per LPA's visual observation and interview. LPA observed the facility is currently undergoing construction for building repairs. Director Janet Guthmiller reported that the facility obtained grant money and will be undoing repairs over a 120-day period to be completed by January 2024.
