32 | Based on interviews and observation, Staff 1, Staff 2 and Staff 3 have walked out of the infant room, leaving infants unattended and unsupervised. Therefore, the allegation that, ‘staff leaves infants unsupervised in the infant classroom,’ is SUBSTANTIATED. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. As a result of the substantiated allegation, a Type B citation will be issued for a violation of CCR101429(a)(1).
Based on interviews and observation, infants were observed in the front preschool classroom at the beginning of the day. On at least one occasion, the infants were in the preschool classroom for approximately 40 minutes. Therefore, the allegation that, ‘Licensee allows infant and preschool children to co-mingle,’ is SUBSTANTIATED. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. As a result of the substantiated allegation, A Type B citation will be issued for violation of CCR10161.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, Type B citations will be issued for violation of CCR CCR101429(a)(1) and CCR10161 as a result of substantiated allegations. Exit interview conducted with Teacher Catherine Sanguinetti. Appeal rights were provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit was given and will be posted for 30 days. |
