25 | On 2/15/2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Roman Iglesias and Cynthia Brannon, arrived at facility to conduct a Case Management inspection due to a previous inspection visit on 12/8/2021. LPAs met with Site Supervisor, Rebecca Garcia, discussed the purpose of the inspection, conducted an indoor/outdoor inspection, and took a census.
On 12/8/2021, LPA Iglesias observed the following disinfectants/ cleaning solutions at the facility in an accessible restroom to children, next to a room were children were napping: 2 bleaches, Clorox (bowl cleaner), and Microban Sanitizing Spray. The items were located in the restroom sink cabinet, labeled as "bathroom cleaning supplies". The "bathroom cleaning supplies" cabinet was not locked and according to Ms. Garcia, the "cleaning lady" forgot to lock the cabinet. It should be noted that LPA did not observe any sort of child safety locks on the cabinet, which made the items listed above accessible to children.
Additionally, on 12/8/2021 LPA Iglesias observed a Hornet and Wasp Killer spray inside of an outside storage room. However, the door to the storage room was not properly locked, which made the spray accessible to children. Ms. Garcia disposed of the Hornet and Wasp Killer spray and securely locked the storage room.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, the following deficiency are being cited on the attached LIC809D, see next page.
An exit interview was conducted with Site Supervisor, Rebecca Garcia. A copy of this report and Appeal Rights were provided and discussed with Ms. Garcia.
A Notice of Site Visit Form was posted to parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days. |
