25 | On 1/31/23, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Priscilla Zamudio and Anita Tristan conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPAs toured the facility and a census was taken. LPAs met with Rebecca Garcia, Director. The purpose of today's inspection was to discuss an incident that was reported to the Department on 1/6/23. A file review was conducted prior to today's inspection.
An Unusual Incident Report was submitted to the Fresno Community Care Licensing Office regarding an incident that occurred on January 6, 2023 where a Doordash delivery driver wrote a post on Facebook alleging that when they made their delivery, they opened a classroom door full of sleeping children and saw no adult present in the room.
LPAs conducted interviews with staff who confirmed there was a teacher in the classroom when the children were napping. Director Garcia stated that the Doordash delivery driver did not follow protocol because when she made her order, she requested that her food be delivered outside her door. The Admin who manages the Facebook group page was contacted and the post was eventually removed.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency cited today.
Exit interview conducted with Director Rebecca Garcia. A notice of site visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days. |
