1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	A prelicensing inspection visit was conducted on this date by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michael Duarte, who met with Preschool Director Heidi DeLaMotte. The center is located on the premises of Turlock Christian Preschool located at 2323 Colorado Avenue in Turlock. The licensee has requested an amended capacity of 72 preschool children. This program will operate year round, Monday thru Friday from 7:00AM to 6:00PM. Children will bring their own lunch and the facility will provide an AM and PM snack. The snacks will be provided and prepared in the designated snack prep area in the penguin's classroom on site. There is a sink with hot water inside the kitchen area to use for food preparation. Ill children will utilize the designated child restroom or the staff restroom located in the elementary building. Ill children will be isolated in designated areas of each classroom, or in elementary building. Room measurements were taken and reviewed with facility Director. There are 4 classrooms that will be used by preschool children. The classrooms will be labeled with the following names; penguins, panda's koala's and kangaroos. The total inside preschool area measured 2,584 square feet, which will accommodate the amended requested capacity. There is adequate storage space available for children's belongings. Outdoor storage is available for toys and equipment, and toys and equipment are age appropriate. Outdoor measurements taken on this date. The facility has two outside areas for children. The large area with the play structure totaled 5,400 square feet and the front outside area totaled 2,176 square feet which will accommodate the requested capacity. There is adequate shade available in the outdoor activity area with trees. The applicant is using wood chips for cushioning under the outdoor climbing structure. There are 5 toilets and 5 sinks/hand washing fixtures in the children's bathrooms which will accommodate the requested capacity. There is a drinking water fountain in each classroom and a drinking faucet will be installed on the outside activity area as well. Igloo will be utilized for indoor/outdoor drinking water.

This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. The following items must be completed prior to issuing a license by 07/09/2019:
1. Amended fire clearance approval for 72 preschool children.
2. Proof water faucets have been turned on in all four classrooms.
3. There are two trees in large outside activity area need to be trimmed away from building and the low hanging branches are to be cut.
4. Drinking faucet needs to be installed on large outside activity area.
5. Spider webs need to be removed from bushes in large outside activity area.
6. There is paint on the north wall that needs to be touched up in the kangaroo classroom.
7. In the penguin classroom there is a cabinet in the snack prep area that needs to be secured to the wall.
