25 | On 5/13/22 at 8:39am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mendez. At 9:34am the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 8 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 6:30am-5:30pm, Monday–Thursday and Fridays 6:30am- 4:30pm. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are the garage, three bedrooms and were made inaccessible by lock. The children use the backyard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is a in ground, pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with iron rod fencing and wooden fencing.
Twelve children's records were reviewed at 8:41am. Three staff records were reviewed at 9:08am
There are currently two adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
