25 | On 9/21/22 at 10:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) J. Helton conducted a case management visit to view the new child care area at the facility. Licensee was operating in a converted garage and had a fire on 9/2/22. Due to the fire and reconstruction of the area, licensee has moved the child care into an extra space inside the home. LPA toured home inside and out at 10:40 AM and viewed the new space, as well as the garage and damage. Licensee has a separate living space that is now for child care. The off limits areas are the upstairs, main living room, kitchen and garage The areas are made inaccessible by locking doors and baby gates. Licensee has a fenced off area of the back yard that was and is still being used for outside play. All areas are clean and appropriate for preschool age children. LPA observed that there were no hazards accessible to children.
Licensee and assistant were supervising 9 children and operating in ratio.
There are no deficiencies during this visit.
Licensee will keep LPA informed on progress of construction and when/if the child area will move back into the converted garage space.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
