25 | On at 6/29/2023 an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst J.Helton and J.Gifford. Operating times are Monday 6;30 AM-6:00 PM, Monday–Friday. The facility was toured at 11:09 AM, inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. Facility operates in 4 classrooms.The director and 7 teachers-aides were supervising 68 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises. The outdoor activity space was cushioned with sand, bark, and grass. 12 children's records were reviewed at 10:26 am. 5 staff records were reviewed at 9:40 am.
The following deficiencies were cited, Type B violation for failure to complete water lead testing no later than January 1, 2023. Type B violation for failure to have staff complete required mandated reporter training. (see LIC 809D):

Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
