LPAs Martinez and Mendez conducted an inspection in response to a capacity increase request that was received by the Department on 10/13/2020. The licensee requested an increase to a capacity of 14. A fire inspection was conducted, approved and received by the Department on 05/17/21. LPA toured the facility including all areas which are accessible to the children in care. LPA verified that licensee's Pediatric CPR and 1st Aide certifications are current and expire on 4/17/23. Licensee had evidence of required immunization records on file. Capacity and ratio regulations were reviewed with licensee. LPA reviewed requirements for any assistants that she may hire. Facility sketch was reviewed. The increase of capacity will be granted once a copy of the Mandated Reporter training certificate is completed.
