25 | On 4/3/2023 at 2:10pm, a Required-1 Year inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez. At 2:25pm the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising 4 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 6am-11pm, Monday–Saturday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed. The off-limits areas of the home are the second story of the home, the four bedrooms including the master bathroom, dining room, and kitchen, and were made inaccessible by baby gates. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard.
Four children's records were reviewed at 2:50pm.
There are currently four adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
