25 | On 6/21/22 at 9:45 am , an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Wisehart. The infant/toddler license operates in rooms #1 and #2. The preschool license operates in rooms #3 and #4. This is a seasonal program, open approximately June - November. Operating hours are normally 5am - 5pm.
The facility was toured at 10:00 am inside and outside and the floor and yard plan submitted by the licensee were verified. The Director and 8 staff were supervising 6 children (4 infants/2 toddlers), and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises.
The Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Six children's records were reviewed at 11:40 am. Nine staff records were reviewed at 11:40 am.
LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with the Director and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee [facility representative] of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.
