25 | On 5/26/22 at 8:40 am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), [name]. At 8:55 am, the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 8 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are master bedroom/bathroom; and two bedrooms, Laundry room and garage, and were made inaccessible by locks and door knob covers. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is an above ground pool that is separately fenced and the approved wood panel fencing is still in place. There is a waiver on file to allow both the laundry room door leading into the garage and the garage man door that leads to the pool area to remain key locked during child care hours. The conditions of the waiver were in place during today's inspection.
8 children's records were reviewed at 9:55 am . 3 staff records were reviewed at 9:35 am.
There are currently 2 adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
