25 | The facility inspection was conducted via tele-inspection due to the current state of emergency regarding the COVID-19 outbreak by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sandy Husband in response to an application submitted on 8/4/20 for an increase of capacity from 10 to 16 children on an existing preschool license. This program is operated by Northern California Child Development Inc. Operating hours are 8:30 am - 1:30 pm, Mon-Thur and follows the annual school calendar. The facility was toured inside and outside and the floor and yard plan were verified. Water is provided indoors via a water dispenser located by the front door. Individual water bottles are provided in the outdoor play area. The facility has a first aid kit on site. Medications are locked. The facility has a charged fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC, a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector on site. The Site Supervisor has proof of current CPR/First Aid which expires on 9/2020; a Mandated Reporter certificate, which expires 8/21/21, and a completed Preventive Health Practices which includes the nutrition and lead exposure training. The fire clearance was approved for 16 preschoolers on 8/14/20. The indoor capacity measured for 15 children and the outdoor yard area measured for 28 children. Therefore, the capacity increase is granted for 15 preschool children.
This report was reviewed and discussed with the Site Supervisor, Trisha Williams. All licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years.
