25 | On 3/8/2023, an unannounced Case Management - Plan of Correction (POC) Inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ruby Ocegueda. LPA met with Licensee Katherine Owens to review the POC associated to deficiencies cited on 1/13/2023. LPA toured the home and took a census. Today, LPA verified the following:
The child size eating counters in the playroom were clean and free of clutter. The counters in the kitchen did not have any medication or cleaning products and were free of food debris. The two highchairs in the playroom were wiped clean. The plastic faces of the dolls were no longer full of smudges. There was still permanent staining on the plastic of one high chair, however licensee stated she would buy a new one for children to use.
LPA reminded licensee that her counters should remain free of hazardous items and clutter and that she should continue to monitor her equipment and toys to ensure they were clean and safe. If she could not ensure she could regularly clean dolls or stuffed animals, she should place toys out of reach until they are cleaned. Licensee stated she understood.
LPA cleared deficiencies on this date and provided licensee with a "Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared." This letter must be filed in the facility for three years and upon request made accessible to the public for review.
Per Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations no deficiencies were cited today.
