13 | On May 2, 2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kari McWilliams arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced complaint investigation. Prior to the investigation LPA McWilliams conducted a complete file review. The purpose of this inspection was to open and deliver findings regarding the above listed allegation. LPA McWilliams met with Licensee Teresa Duran, also present was Licensee's assistant.
LPA McWilliams toured the facility inside and out and a census was taken. During the course of the investigation LPA McWilliams interviewed Licensee, her assistant, and reviewed children’s files.
Based on LPA McWilliams interviews the information provided gave conflicting information based whether the door to the daycare area was closed or partially open when the infant was sleeping and Licensee went outside. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid. There is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, no deficiencies are being cited. Exit interview conducted with Licensee Teresa Duran. Notice of Site Visit Form to be posted to parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days.
