25 | On 08/22/2019, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jose Penate and Caroline Harris conducted a Case Management inspection to clear previous deficiencies that were observed 05/01/19. LPAs met with Licensees Adult Daughters , Delia Sanchez and Irene Salcedo. LPAs toured facility inside and outside and a census was taken.
Upon arrival at facility LPAs observed construction in the front fenced yard area, where cement was being taken up and is scheduled to be replaced. LPAs informed both Ms. Sanchez and Ms. Salcedo of the reporting requirements to CCL when the facility is having work done and would change any normal activities to the daycare. LPA's were informed that the construction had started on 8/21/19 and stated that the facility would be closed from 08/21/19 to 08/25/19 and they would not be providing care for any children during this time. LPAs observed two children in the facility today but when asked who the children were Ms. Sanchez stated they were her children.
During the inspection of the inside of the facility, LPA's observed that the dog urine smell that was previously observed during the inspection on 5/1/19, to be gone as the licensee's daughters stated that they got certain cleaning supplies to get rid of the odor.
Per Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations no deficiencies are observed today. Site Visit Notice posted on the parent board. A Letter of Deficiency Cleared was provided to the licensee.
