25 | On this date, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Theresa Marquez conducted an unannounced Annual inspection and met with Director, Rosanna Huitt. LPA Marquez toured the facility, both indoors and outdoors.
This is an after school program which operates on a year round schedule, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Required CCL forms are posted on the parent's board.
Transportation is provided for pick up only.
Furniture and equipment is in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The child care center is clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times. All floors are clean and safe. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Storage areas for poisons are locked.
All kitchen, food preparations and storage areas are kept clean, free of litter, rubbish, and free of rodents and other vermin. All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins, have tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. A PM snack is provided. Snack menus are posted at least one week in advance, where an authorized representative can view them.
Outdoor activity space surfaces are free of hazards. The areas around or under high climbing equipment and slides and similar equipment are cushioned with material that absorbs a fall. In combination programs, outdoor activity space provided for school-age children is physically separate from space provided for child care center children. Uncontaminated drinking water is readily available both indoors and outdoors. There are no bodies of water. Firearms and other weapons are not allowed or stored on the premises of a child care center. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors that meet statutory requirements. |
