13 | On 12/09/20, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jessika Thompson conducted a complaint tele-inspection. The purpose of this inspection was to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPA met virtually with Director Flora Johnson. No day-care children were present as the facility is currently closed.
This investigation consisted of interviews with staff, parents of day-care children, and inspection of pertinent areas of the facility. Staff interviewed reported observing the facility to be safe and free from hazardous items within the reach of children. Staff stated that children in care are adequately monitored and/or supervised at all times. Parents of children in care interviewed spoke positively about the facility, indicating that the facility is hazard free, safe, and kid-friendly; these parents also attested to adequate supervision being provided at the facility. Additionally, during inspection of the facility, LPA did not find any evidence of hazardous items within a child's reach.
