25 | On this date, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kathy Pacheco conducted an unannounced annual/random inspection. LPA met with Licensee, Isabel Torres, who provided a tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch. There are no "bodies of water" or firearms in this facility. Poisons, cleaning compounds, medications and other hazardous items are inaccessible to children. The fireplace is not in use. The fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide indicator meet Community Care Licensing (CCL) regulations. The home is kept clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are no stairs in the home. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. There are no animals in the home. Licensee has a working telephone and would like to change her phone number from the above land line number to her cell phone number of (559) 709-3236. Adequate supervision is being provided during this inspection. Outdoor play areas are fenced or supervised by the Licensee or care giver. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained. Children’s records contain all emergency information specified by regulation. There are no excluded individuals present at this home. All adults who reside or work in the home have a criminal record clearance or exemption as indicated on LIS 531 – Facility Personnel Report Summary. The Licensee and other personnel as specified have completed training on preventative health practices including pediatric CPR and first aid.
Licensee provided proof of required immunization (Pertussis/Measles/Influenza) and/or written declaration declining flu shot. Licensee also provided proof of required Mandated Reporter Training; Completed: 11/20/17.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. Licensee is aware that an IMS plan is required to be submitted to the Licensing office if they provide any of these services.
