Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diana Martinez arrived at facility to deliver findings to the above allegation and to close the complaint. A complete file review was conducted prior to today’s visit. LPA met with licensee Socorro Marroquin-Garcia, toured facility, and obtained census. As part of the investigation, LPA reviewed facility records, toured the facility, and interviewed licensee, staff and other relevant parties.
Investigation revealed that at least one infant slept in a bouncer. Licensee was unaware that bouncers and car seats are prohibited in day care facilities.
Based upon observations and information gathered through interviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore, the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, this deficiency is cited on the attached LIC 9099D. Exit interview conducted with licensee Socorro Marroquin-Garcia. A copy of this report and appeal rights were provided. Notice of Site Visit form (LIC 9213) was posted on parents’ board and must remain posted for 30 days.
