25 | On 3/12/20 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diana Martinez conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with licensees Maricela and Rigoberto Ramirez Jr. No day care children were present today. LPA conducted an interior and exterior tour of the home. The accessible rooms are the living room, dining room, kitchen, children's playroom, and hall bathroom. The off-limit rooms are made inaccessible with child safety plastic door knob covers. Safe, healthful, and comfortable accommodations, furnishings, and equipment were observed. Also observed were safe toys, play equipment, and materials. In the backyard, licensees have three dogs that are kept on the south side of the home in an enclosed dog run and will be kept inaccessible to children. Licensees are aware of the safety of children around animals. There are no bodies of water on the premises and no firearms in the home. No poisons were observed on the premises. Cleaning compounds, medications and other hazardous items are inaccessible to children. There is no fireplace. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide indicator, and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Stairs are barricaded when children under age 5 years old are present. There is a working telephone and number was verified. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained. A current roster of the children in care is maintained. Licensees maintain documentation of immunizations for the children. Licensees maintains documentation of immunizations against pertussis, measles and influenza for themselves. Pediatric CPR/First Aid are current with the expiration date of 10/11/21.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) are not currently being provided. Licensee is aware that when any IMS is provided, a plan for providing IMS must be submitted to the licensing office.
