25 | On 6/1/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ocegueda conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of reviewing personal rights and care and supervision. LPA met with licensee Lorene Garcia, toured the home, and took a census.
Today, licensee reported that her and her husband/assistant are the only individuals who provide care and supervision to the day care children. The attached converted garage (which has its own entrance) is used for care and supervision and when the children need to use the restroom, licensee or husband walk them inside the main home to use the restroom so they are not unsupervised.
LPA also reviewed personal rights regulations with licensee. Per licensee, she ensures that her home is in safe and has healthful conditions at all times. Today, LPA observed that the home was clean and safe and that licensee and her husband/assistant were providing proper care and supervision.
Lastly, LPA reviewed Mandated Reporter requirements and Training which was up to date. LPA reviewed Unusual Incident regulations and encouraged licensee to contact our office in any case that she had questions.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Exit interview waas conducted with Licensee, Lorene Garcia. This report is to be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 days.
