25 | On May 18, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, licensee's husband, Licensee's Assistant, Jordyn Duran and eight day care children. Licensee, her husband and three minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through Pediatric Plus with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on November 13, 2023. Licensee’s Assistant, Jordyn Duran who completed the training through Pediatric Plus with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA)and expires on February 25, 2024. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on April 27, 2022.
A tour of the four bedrooms and two bathrooms home was conducted inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on May 10, 2022. Fire alarm is located on the left hand side dining room wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed a high chair. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right hand side of the hallway wall.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
