25 | On February 1, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was Spanish-speaking licensee, her husband and three day care children. Licensee and her husband reside in the home. Verified licensee CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on October 16, 2023. Licensee’s qualified assistant will be her Husband, Gustavo Hurtado who completed the training through American Red Cross and expires on October 16, 2023. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on January 18, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on January 25, 2022. Fire alarm is located on the guest house entry way on the right hand side wall. The guest house has a living room area, kitchen area, bedroom and a bathroom.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. There is a parent’s board that is located on the window.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
