25 | On 10/14/2021 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rene Mancinas conducted a Case Management inspection in regard to increasing capacity. LPA met with Licensee Katlin Harger. A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch was done. During today’s inspection, Licensee stated the bedroom accessible to children in care will no longer be accessible. LPA had Licensee update facility sketch to reflect new changes. Day care equipment was evaluated. LPA observed a working fire extinguisher, working smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector and a first aid kit. During inspection, LPA reviewed fire drill log requirements. The home has been given fire clearance by the Fire Department with jurisdiction to the facility and has forwarded documentation to CCL.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) are not currently being provided. Licensee is aware that an IMS plan is required to be submitted to the licensing office if they provide any of these services. Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
